Random Access Memory

Random Access Memory is often referred to as RAM. It is usually in the form of a physical plug-in “stick” that can be added to a computer or web server’s motherboard, often in pairs. Sometimes ‘Random Access Memory’ is described as a computer’s “short term memory” because the more Random Access Memory that a computer [or web server] has installed, usually it can run more applications the same time.
