There are many ways that a VoIP<\/a> provider can configure a VoIP<\/a> softswitch to save end-users\u2019 monthly communication expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One example would be to have a\u00a0VoIP<\/a> softswitch user\u2019s assigned phone number on a\u00a0VoIP<\/a> softswitch\u00a0receive\u00a0calls on their personal softphone<\/a> or sip device. They could set call forwarding directly from a\u00a0web portal.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

A good example of how call forwarding can be used would be if one of your clients is\u00a0living and working in Dubai and has a family living in Pakistan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The user orders a DID<\/a> (phone number) in Pakistan usually for\u00a0a small monthly\u00a0price. Then he goes to\u00a0the client web portal on your VoIP<\/a> dedicated server and configures his\u00a0call forwarding to forward all calls to his local number in Dubai. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When his family from Pakistan wants to call him they just dial local number and hear his phone in Dubai ringing. When (and only when)\u00a0the user answers the family pays for the connection at the same rate as for a local call. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your client user would pay for forwarding to his Dubai number but at the rate you charge them for service.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
